Join us as we talk about & practice six skills that form the back bone of DBT and tell us WHAT we do when practicing mindfulness (observe, describe, participate) & HOW we engage with that practice (non-judgmentally, one-mindfully, & effectively.

WHAT & HOW Homework: Sticky note style
(1) Grab sticky notes or pieces of paper, or perhaps enter a note on your phone or computer
(2) Write the following on one sticky note each:
a. Observe
b. Describe
c. Participate
d. Nonjudgmentalness
e. Be one-mindful of
f. Effective
(3) Take a few minutes after this video to write tasks on each of these sticky notes for you to complete over the week.
(4) Place the sticky notes in locations where you will see them often so you remember to practice over the next week!
